Concierge - Customer Service Specialist



As a Concierge and Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and assistance to our guests at our luxury hotel in Esbjerg, Denmark. You will be the first point of contact for guests, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, making reservations, and providing information about local attractions and events. In addition, you will be responsible for handling guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including processing payments
- Make reservations for guests at local restaurants and attractions
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local area to guests
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations for their stay
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Monitor guest requests through our computer system and ensure timely follow-up
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests or resolve issues

Requirements:

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Strong communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of the local area is an advantage
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- Must have legal authorization to work in Denmark without sponsorship
