Back-End Software Engineer

As a Back-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side components of our web application. This includes designing and implementing APIs, integrating with databases, and optimizing server performance. You will work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless communication between the server and client-side.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs for our web application
- Integrate data from various sources into the database
- Optimize server performance to ensure fast response times
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth communication between server and client-side
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in back-end development
- Proficient in at least one back-end programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js)
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of API design principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies

Salary: $1700/month
