Data Mining Analyst
The Data Mining Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data. The ideal candidate will have experience in data mining techniques and tools, as well as knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms. This position is based in Horsens and offers a salary of $1100 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Applying data mining techniques such as clustering, regression, association rule mining, and text mining to identify patterns and trends
- Developing predictive models using machine learning algorithms
- Analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions
- Communicating findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
- Continuously monitoring data quality to ensure accuracy of results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data extraction and analysis
- Knowledge of data mining tools such as RapidMiner, SAS Enterprise Miner or IBM SPSS Modeler
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques such as regression analysis, time series forecasting, and hypothesis testing
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, neural networks, and random forests
- Experience working with large datasets using database systems such as MySQL or Oracle
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively about complex problems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in computer science, statistics or a related field
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of natural language processing techniques for text analysis
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
