Data Mining Analyst

We are a fast-growing data mining company in Horsens, seeking a talented Data Mining Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends, providing valuable insights for our clients. Your main tasks will include data extraction, cleaning, and manipulation using various tools and techniques. You will also be expected to create reports and visualizations to present your findings in a clear and actionable manner. This role is perfect for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for uncovering hidden insights from data.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough data research and analysis using SQL, Python, or other data mining tools
- Identifying patterns and trends in large datasets to provide valuable insights for clients
- Cleaning and manipulating data to ensure accuracy and quality
- Creating reports and visualizations to present findings in a clear and understandable manner
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide solutions through data analysis
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments in data mining techniques and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Strong knowledge of SQL or other database querying language
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or R
- Experience with data manipulation tools such as Excel or Tableau
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle large amounts of data efficiently
- Strong communication skills to present complex findings in a clear manner

Preferences:
While not required, the following preferences would be beneficial for this role:
- Previous experience in data mining or analytics roles
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with biometric passport technology and data privacy regulations
- Ability to relocate to Horsens, Denmark and willingness to work with accommodation provided by the company

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month, with potential for growth and advancement within the company.
