Industrial Alpinist - Horsens, Denmark
Our company in Horsens is seeking a skilled Industrial Alpinist to join our team on a contract basis. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will use specialized climbing techniques to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections in high and hard-to-reach areas such as industrial buildings, bridges, and wind turbines. This role requires excellent physical fitness, technical proficiency in rope access techniques, and a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial maintenance tasks such as painting, welding, cleaning, and repairs at heights using rope access techniques
- Inspect and assess the condition of structures and equipment while adhering to safety regulations
- Rig ropes and other equipment for safe access to work locations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and report any potential hazards or incidents
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist or similar role
- Ability to work at heights in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in rope access techniques including ascending/descending using double rope systems, rigging ropes for work positioning, and performing rescues
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations regarding working at heights
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to carry heavy equipment while climbing
- Valid driver's license preferred
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
