Preservation Architect
We are seeking a talented and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their cultural and historical significance is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and surveys to determine the historical significance of buildings
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Collaborating with engineers and contractors to ensure structural integrity of historic buildings
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities for preservation projects
- Supervising construction work to ensure adherence to preservation plans and standards
- Conducting regular inspections of historic buildings to identify maintenance needs
- Preparing reports on building conditions, preservation efforts, and recommendations for future preservation work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in preservation architecture or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and historic preservation standards
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
Salary: 1800$ per month
