Preservation Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of preservation and restoration projects for historic buildings and sites. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$, suitable for professionals with their own visa or students looking for job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site visits and assessments to determine preservation needs and requirements
- Developing preservation plans and proposals in collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Overseeing the execution of preservation work on site to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of historic buildings during restoration
- Conducting research on construction materials, techniques, and historical context to inform preservation decisions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong understanding of conservation principles, building codes, and regulations related to historic structures
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools for architectural design
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
