We are seeking a dependable and customer service-oriented Cashier to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions with customers, scanning items, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous cashier experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience
- Scan items and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers
- Collect payments from customers and issue receipts or change
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be dependable, honest, and responsible
- Must have own visa for working in Denmark
