Florist Assistant



We are a Horsens-based flower shop seeking a skilled and creative Florist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in floral design and arrangements, as well as a passion for creating beautiful and unique designs. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead florist with creating and arranging floral designs for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and events
- Greet and assist customers with their floral needs, providing recommendations and suggestions based on their preferences
- Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies, ensuring they are well-stocked at all times
- Process orders and payments accurately using our POS system
- Keep the shop clean and organized, including arranging displays and keeping work areas tidy
- Help with deliveries as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in floral design or arrangement preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Basic math skills for processing orders and payments accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
