Executive Chef - Horsens, Denmark
We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our team in the beautiful city of Horsens. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cuisine to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients, while also catering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Passion for creating innovative dishes with a focus on quality, freshness, and presentation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food cost control principles and experience managing budgets
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Food Safety Manager certification required
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this contract position.
