Entry-Level Librarian



We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Entry-Level Librarian to join our team in Horsens. As an Entry-Level Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the library, including organizing and maintaining books, assisting patrons with inquiries and research, and supporting the overall library mission. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in the field of librarianship.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain books and other materials in accordance with library standards
- Assist patrons with locating materials and conducting research
- Provide excellent customer service to all library users
- Support the overall mission of the library by staying up-to-date on new resources and technologies
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement programs and events for the community
- Handle administrative tasks such as checking books in and out, managing fines, etc.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (or current enrollment in a program)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency with computers, including knowledge of library databases and software systems
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills a plus)

Salary:
Starting salary is $1400 per month.
