Junior Librarian

The Junior Librarian will be responsible for assisting in the organization and management of the library's resources, including books, periodicals, and multimedia materials. They will also assist patrons with locating and checking out materials, as well as answering reference questions and providing research assistance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and a strong attention to detail. This position is suitable for individuals without prior experience in a library setting. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are provided for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the library's collection
- Help patrons locate and check out materials
- Answer reference questions and provide research assistance
- Process new materials by cataloging, labeling, and shelving them
- Assist with library events, such as book clubs or author talks
- Maintain a clean and orderly library space

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Passion for literature and knowledge of different genres
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patrons of all ages
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with library databases
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Location: Horsens, Denmark (accommodation provided)
Salary: $1600/month (dependent on experience)
