Electrician Technician

As an Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings. Your duties will include inspecting electrical components, identifying and fixing faults, and performing regular maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency. You will also be responsible for interpreting blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems, as well as providing recommendations for upgrades or replacements. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with safety codes
- Inspect electrical components to identify faults or potential hazards
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency
- Interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements based on inspections
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project details, timelines, and any changes or issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician technician or similar role
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Understanding of safety codes and regulations related to electrical work
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to work at heights or in confined spaces
- Valid electrician license/certification
