Executive Chef
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a renowned restaurant in Horsens, Denmark. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation and presentation, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and appealing menus that cater to the tastes and preferences of our customers
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking techniques, portion control, and plating
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and performance
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health code regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique and delicious dishes
- Strong understanding of food cost control measures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a chef in fine dining restaurants
Salary:
1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
