Instrument Technician

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes troubleshooting, calibrating, and replacing faulty components. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing preventative maintenance plans to ensure the smooth operation of instruments. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess strong technical skills. This is a full-time position located in Horsens with a salary of 1100$. Accommodation is not provided for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment
- Replace faulty components or entire systems when necessary
- Create and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of instruments
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and update equipment documentation as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrument technology

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong technical skills and ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure calibrators
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues with instruments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
- Knowledge of safety protocols when working with electrical or hazardous materials

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
- Certification or training in instrument calibration or repair techniques
- Experience working in an industrial setting such as manufacturing plants or oil refineries

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position located in Horsens. The candidate must be able to work independently without accommodation. Some tasks may require working in confined spaces or at heights. The candidate must also be available for occasional on-call and weekend work.
