Language Tutor

As a Language Tutor, you will be responsible for providing language instruction to students in a one-on-one or small group setting. You will create lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and level of proficiency, and assess their progress through regular evaluations. Your main goal is to help students improve their speaking, reading, writing and comprehension skills in the target language.

Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized lesson plans based on student's needs and goals
- Provide engaging and interactive language instruction using a variety of teaching techniques
- Assess student's progress and provide regular feedback
- Create and administer language proficiency tests
- Monitor and track student attendance
- Collaborate with other tutors to share best practices and resources
- Stay updated on current language teaching methodologies and incorporate them into your lessons
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student's progress if necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in linguistics, education or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching the target language to non-native speakers
- Fluency in the target language and excellent command of grammar rules
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Patient, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching languages
- Experience working with adults preferred
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month. Additional benefits may include accommodations, visa sponsorship, and professional development opportunities.

Contract Type: This is a contract position with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
