Tutor for English Language Learners



We are in need of a patient and dedicated Tutor for English Language Learners to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one or small group instruction to students who are learning English as a second language.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to the individual needs of each student
- Conduct regular assessments to track progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Provide feedback and support to students to help them improve their language skills
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and resources to engage and motivate students
- Collaborate with other tutors, teachers, and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:
- Fluency in English (native or near-native level)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching English as a second language is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse learners
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs
