IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients. This includes diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining the network infrastructure. You will also be responsible for managing user accounts, performing data backups, and ensuring the security of our systems.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You should also have strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email or in person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems
- Set up user accounts and permissions
- Manage data backups
- Maintain network infrastructure
- Ensure the security of systems by implementing necessary measures
- Document all support activities for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn new technologies
