Back-End Developer for Biometric Passport System in Roskilde, Denmark

As a Back-End Developer for our biometric passport system in Roskilde, Denmark, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end infrastructure and applications necessary to support our state-of-the-art biometric passport system. This role requires a skilled and experienced developer with a strong understanding of back-end development principles and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the back-end infrastructure and applications for our biometric passport system
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize performance and scalability of the system
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and apply new technologies as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of back-end development principles, including database design, API development, and server-side scripting languages such as PHP or Python
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with front-end development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for web development
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with biometrics or security systems is a plus
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Roskilde, Denmark. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
