Senior Backend Developer



We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Roskilde. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our backend systems. You will work closely with our Frontend Developers and Product Managers to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable backend systems
- Collaborate with Frontend Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
- Continuously optimize existing systems for improved performance and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our systems are using the best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.)
- Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of web development frameworks (Node.js, Django)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Understanding of DevOps principles and tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
