Android Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as continuously improve and maintain existing codebase. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, experience with third-party libraries and APIs, and a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly mobile applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Continuously improve code quality through writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in developing native Android applications
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent debugging skills to quickly identify root cause of issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job: This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. There is potential for extension based on performance.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the first month while the candidate settles into their new role.

Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship may be provided for non-EU candidates who meet all necessary requirements.
