We are a dynamic and growing organization in search of a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain multiple databases across different platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Optimize database design and data structures for maximum efficiency
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand database requirements for new projects
- Perform regular security audits and implement necessary measures to protect against unauthorized access or data breaches
- Troubleshoot database-related problems in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and other database management systems
- Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting complex database issues
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
