We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our company's databases in Roskilde, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in SQL database management, as well as a high attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain databases for various applications within the company
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any performance issues
- Develop and maintain data backup and recovery procedures
- Ensure database security by implementing access controls, back-up procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to identify database needs and provide support
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in database management and recommend improvements to existing systems

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and related tools (SQL Server Management Studio)
- Experience with database design, performance tuning, data backup/recovery, security management
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide timely solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
