Job Title: Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Roskilde. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our databases are running efficiently and effectively to support the needs of our business.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and disaster recovery planning
- Develop and implement database policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT team to optimize database design for better performance
- Train employees on how to use the databases effectively
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (DBMS)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security, and integrity standards
- Experience with database design and optimization techniques
- Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and improve performance
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: Salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location: This position is based in Roskilde but remote work may also be considered.
