Facade Engineer

As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining the outer layer of buildings. This includes analyzing building structures, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring the safety and functionality of facades. You will use your expertise in engineering principles and construction techniques to develop innovative facade designs that meet building codes, sustainability standards, and clients' expectations.

Key responsibilities:
- Conducting structural analysis of buildings to determine the best facade design
- Selecting suitable materials based on performance, aesthetics, and budget
- Preparing detailed drawings and specifications for facade construction
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and compliance with regulations
- Overseeing the installation process to ensure quality control and timely completion
- Conducting regular maintenance inspections to identify any issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in facade technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facade design or construction projects
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to facades
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD or other relevant software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
