Job Title: Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic structures and buildings in the city of Roskilde. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that preservation projects adhere to local and national regulations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of architectural styles and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site assessments and creating preservation plans for historic buildings
- Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and needs for preservation projects
- Working with contractors to oversee the implementation of restoration plans
- Adhering to local and national regulations for historic preservation projects
- Conducting research on architectural styles, materials, and techniques relevant to each project
- Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans and drawings
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Communicating regularly with clients, contractors, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural styles, materials, and techniques used in historic buildings
- Experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve complex issues during restoration projects
