English Teacher (Contract)

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality English language lessons to students in Roskilde. Your main goal is to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps students improve their language skills. You will work with students of various ages and levels, so adaptability and flexibility are essential. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month. While previous teaching experience is preferred, it is not required. However, you must have a biometric passport as this job may require international travel. Accommodation will not be provided.

In this role, you will use your expertise in the English language to design lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of your students. You will also use various teaching techniques and resources to make lessons interesting and effective. This may include using technology, visual aids, or interactive activities.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for evaluating students' progress through assessments and providing feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement. You should also maintain accurate records of attendance and grades.

This position requires strong communication skills as you will regularly communicate with students' parents or guardians regarding their progress. You should also be able to collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive learning environment.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching the English language and can inspire students to improve their skills. You should be patient, approachable, and have excellent classroom management skills.

To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in English or related field from an accredited institution. A Teaching Certificate or TEFL/TESOL certification is preferred but not required. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
