Long Haul Truck Driver

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring their safe and timely delivery. You must have a valid commercial driver's license and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will have experience with driving various types of trucks and trailers, as well as knowledge of road safety regulations and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances
- Plan routes and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after trips
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and other delivery-related information
- Adhere to traffic laws and follow established safety procedures at all times
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and clients to coordinate deliveries
- Report any incidents or vehicle malfunctions to management immediately
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Knowledge of road safety regulations, including hours of service rules
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers safely
- Strong communication skills for coordinating deliveries with dispatchers, clients, and other drivers
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo as needed
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with using GPS devices for navigation
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month plus benefits. Accommodation can also be provided if needed. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Location:
This position is based in Roskilde, Denmark. As a preference, we are looking for candidates who already have a valid work visa for Denmark. However, we are open to considering candidates of other nationalities who are willing and able to obtain the necessary work permit.
