Job Title: Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food and service for our guests.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and update menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers for fresh, quality ingredients
- Manage inventory and control food costs to meet budget targets
- Train and oversee kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Monitor food quality to maintain consistency and meet customer expectations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless dining experiences for guests
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Proven track record of creating innovative, delicious dishes that appeal to a variety of tastes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month, commensurate with experience.
