Executive Chef - Roskilde, Denmark
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious and high-quality dishes for our customers. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences
- Manage inventory and food costs to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and assistants
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, following all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
- Ensure timely preparation of food items to maintain customer satisfaction
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create unique menu items while also maintaining consistency in flavor profiles
and presentation
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluent in English (Danish proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
