Executive Chef for High-End Restaurant in Roskilde, Denmark

We are searching for a talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end restaurant in the beautiful city of Roskilde. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that showcases the best of Danish cuisine while also incorporating international flavors. You will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, menu planning, inventory management, and staff training. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment and possess strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute menus that highlight local and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
- Create a positive and efficient work environment for kitchen staff
- Train and mentor junior chefs to maintain high standards of cooking techniques
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional dining experiences for guests
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of Danish cuisine with the ability to incorporate international flavors into dishes
- Ability to create innovative menus that appeal to a variety of tastes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage inventory levels effectively
- Knowledge of food cost control measures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
