We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Roskilde, Denmark. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including creating and designing new dessert menus, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training and supervising junior pastry chefs. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for pastry making and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Create new and innovative dessert menus that align with the restaurant's concept
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry department, including production, plating, and presentation
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure all necessary supplies are always on hand
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs to maintain high-quality standards
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure a cohesive menu experience for guests
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Uphold food safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Proven creative skills in designing unique dessert menus
- Strong knowledge of different types of pastries, baking methods, and techniques
- Ability to manage inventory, order supplies, and work within budget constraints
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train and mentor junior pastry chefs
- Attention to detail for plating and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per week for this full-time position.
