Carpenter - Contract Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Roskilde, Denmark. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, planes, or sanders
- Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings or hardware
- Inspect work for accuracy and completeness according to specifications
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts of structures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and calculate measurements accurately
- Proficient in using hand/power tools such as saws, chisels, planes etc.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of safety measures in carpentry work

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; Vocational training/certification in carpentry preferred but not required
- Valid biometric passport for international travel (if applicable)
- Must be physically fit to perform job duties effectively

Salary:
This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1800$ per month. Salary may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Location:
This position is located in Roskilde, Denmark. Preference will be given to local candidates but those willing to relocate are also encouraged to apply.
