Gardening Assistant



The city of Roskilde is seeking a Gardening Assistant to join our team. As a Gardening Assistant, you will assist with maintaining and beautifying the city's parks, gardens, and green spaces. This is a contract position that offers a salary of 1000$ per month and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with planting, watering, and pruning trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Maintain and repair garden equipment
- Perform general gardening tasks such as weeding, mulching, and mowing lawns
- Help with the installation of irrigation systems
- Collect and dispose of garden waste
- Assist with the upkeep of park benches, walkways, and other structures
- Follow safe working practices at all times

Requirements:
- No prior experience in gardening required
- Must have a biometric passport for identification purposes
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit to perform manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Knowledge of basic gardening techniques is a plus
