Entry Level Mason

As an Entry Level Mason, you will be responsible for assisting with the construction, installation, and repair of various structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural or artificial stones. You will work closely with experienced masons to learn the necessary skills and techniques to become a skilled mason. This position is open to individuals without prior experience in masonry, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in this field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced masons with preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and stones according to construction plans
- Mix mortar and other materials for use in construction
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Clean and prepare work site by removing debris, scaffolding, and other hazards
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Learn various techniques for shaping stones or bricks by hand or using specialized tools
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones as needed
- Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects within given deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn from experienced masons and follow instructions carefully
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in order to create stable structures
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment
