Concierge at a Luxury Hotel in Roskilde, Denmark



Our luxury hotel in Roskilde is seeking a skilled and professional Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. You will also be responsible for making recommendations and reservations for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous experience in a similar role at a high-end hotel or resort is preferred. Fluency in English and Danish is required, with additional languages being an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in process
- Provide information about the hotel facilities and services
- Make reservations for guests at local restaurants, events or activities
- Arrange transportation for guests as needed
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests via phone or email
- Maintain knowledge of current events and attractions in the area to make relevant recommendations to guests
- Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate if necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or tourism is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concierge at a luxury hotel or resort
- Excellent communication skills in English and Danish (written and verbal); additional languages are an asset
- Knowledge of local area attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Availability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have own accommodation in Roskilde
- Must have valid work visa for Denmark
