Junior Database Administrator

We are seeking a Junior Database Administrator to join our growing team in Randers. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and security. You will also assist in developing and implementing database policies, procedures, and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in database management and a willingness to learn new technologies. This is a contract position with the possibility of visa sponsorship. Responsibilities:

- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and maintenance
- Assist in creating and implementing database policies, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database structures for new projects
- Optimize database efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and making necessary adjustments
- Perform data migrations between different systems as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Familiarity with SQL programming language
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to changes
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Randers, Denmark (visa sponsorship available)

Type: Contract (with possibility for extension)
