Interpreter (Part-time) - Randers, Denmark


Our language service company is seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team on a part-time basis in Randers, Denmark. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This may include interpreting spoken language, translating written documents, and providing cultural and linguistic guidance.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between speakers of different languages by accurately interpreting and conveying messages
- Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events
- Translate written materials such as documents, reports, and correspondence
- Research and understand technical terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
- Offer cultural and linguistic guidance to clients to facilitate effective communication
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality while interpreting
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages (preferably Danish and English)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Ability to interpret quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations
- Good research skills to understand technical terminology for accurate interpretation
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Availability for flexible work hours including evenings and weekends

Education/Experience:
Although no formal education is required for this role, preference will be given to candidates with a degree or certification in interpretation or translation. Previous experience as an interpreter is also preferred but not mandatory.

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is 1000$ per month.

Location:
The job is based in Randers, Denmark. Candidates must have their own visa or work permit for employment in Denmark.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The exact schedule will depend on the needs of our clients.
