Industrial Alpinist

As an Industrial Alpinist in our company, you will be responsible for performing high-altitude work in various industrial settings. Your duties may include rope access, rigging, inspection, maintenance, repair, and construction tasks at heights that cannot be reached by traditional methods. You will need to have a strong understanding of safety protocols and proper equipment usage, as well as the physical ability to work at heights for extended periods of time. This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access work in industrial settings such as oil and gas facilities, wind turbines, bridges, and other structures
- Rig ropes for lifting materials and equipment to heights
- Conduct inspections and maintenance tasks at height
- Complete construction projects at elevated locations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times
- Properly use and maintain equipment such as harnesses, ropes, and other tools
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Keep detailed records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications preferred)
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and proper equipment usage
- Technical proficiency in rope access techniques and rigging procedures
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to travel for project assignments
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism or similar field is preferred but not required
