We are seeking a skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Randers, Denmark. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, creating innovative and delicious menus, and ensuring high-quality food is consistently delivered to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including sous chefs and line cooks
- Develop new menu items that reflect current food trends and cater to dietary restrictions
- Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies
- Ensure all food is prepared to company standards of quality and presentation
- Monitor kitchen budget to maintain cost efficiency
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
