Entry-Level Librarian

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Librarian to join our team at the Randers Public Library. As an Entry-Level Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting library patrons with reference, research, and information needs. You will also assist with collection development, cataloging, and programming for library events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to library patrons by assisting with research and reference inquiries
- Assist with collection development by selecting materials for purchase and weeding outdated materials
- Catalog new materials using the library's cataloging system
- Plan and implement programming for library events such as book clubs, author visits, and children's programs
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in the library by shelving materials and keeping shelves neat

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of library resources, including online databases and cataloging systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

Salary: $1200/month
