Sous Chef
We are in search of an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Randers, Denmark. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for managing and training kitchen staff, creating and updating menus, and maintaining inventory and food costs.
The ideal candidate should have a culinary degree or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment. You must have excellent leadership skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients. A creative mindset and an eye for detail are also essential for this role.
In addition to your culinary skills, you should also possess strong organizational abilities and be able to effectively communicate with both kitchen staff and management. This role requires someone who is reliable, adaptable, and takes pride in their work. Knowledge of Danish cuisine is preferred but not required.
