Executive Chef at Fine Dining Restaurant in Randers


We are seeking a creative and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a fine dining restaurant in the charming city of Randers. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu development, food preparation, and kitchen management. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating exceptional dishes and has a strong understanding of current food trends.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an innovative and high-quality menu that reflects our restaurant's concept and satisfies our customers' tastes
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan special events and menus
- Ensure consistency and high standards of food presentation and taste
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu items

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to lead and manage a team while maintaining a positive work environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff members from different departments

Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or higher position in a fine dining restaurant
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must have a valid work permit for Denmark

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience) along with other benefits including employee discounts at our restaurant.
