Head Chef
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing a team of cooks and ensuring the quality and consistency of our food offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards
- Monitor food costs and strive to improve profitability without sacrificing quality
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and specials
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and customers
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this full-time position.
