Junior Construction Manager
City: Randers, Denmark
As a Junior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for assisting our senior construction managers in overseeing and coordinating construction projects in the city of Randers. You will work closely with our team of engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in the construction industry to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop their skills in project management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior construction managers in planning, organizing, and managing construction projects
- Monitor project progress and make sure it stays on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Conduct site visits to inspect work progress and quality
- Prepare progress reports for senior management
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including clients, contractors, and government officials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Previous internship or co-op experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required
- Good understanding of construction techniques, materials, equipment, and processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $900 per month. Salary will be reviewed based on performance after 6 months.
