Head Pastry Chef
We are currently seeking a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at our high-end bakery in Randers. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of all pastry items, developing new recipes, and managing a team of pastry chefs. Your main goal will be to ensure that all pastries are made to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the production of all pastry items
- Develop new and innovative pastry recipes
- Train and mentor pastry chefs on techniques and procedures
- Ensure that all pastries meet quality and presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients
- Collaborate with other departments to plan menus and specials
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and pastry ingredients
- Creativity and ability to develop new recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and passion for creating visually appealing pastries
Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Randers, Denmark (preferred but not required)
Nationality: Danish or European (preferred but not required)
