Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As a pastry chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our bakery. This is a contract job with a salary of 1300$ per month, and we are open to hiring candidates without prior experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake various pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes
- Decorate and present pastries in an appealing manner
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock when necessary
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan menus and create new recipes
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs or assistants
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods
- Creative flair for decorating pastries
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Good communication skills
