We are hiring a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Odense. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's network and computer systems, ensuring their smooth operation and security. Your main duties will include installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software components, troubleshooting technical issues, and monitoring system performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, servers, operating systems, and virtualization technologies. Previous experience in IT support or network administration is preferred but not required. We are open to hiring students or candidates without professional experience as long as they possess the necessary skills and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Set up user accounts and manage permissions for network resources
- Maintain network security by implementing firewalls and other security measures
- Install and maintain server operating systems (Windows or Linux)
- Manage virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers, workstations, printers, etc.
- Keep track of inventory for all hardware components
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies or upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in network administration or IT support roles (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), routing protocols (BGP), LAN/WAN configurations
- Experience with server operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019, Linux)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Note:
This is an entry-level position and we welcome students or candidates without professional experience. Accommodation will not be provided for this role. We are looking for someone who is able to work part-time, preferably during weekends or evenings.
