Junior Network and Systems Administrator


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Odense, Denmark. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our network and systems infrastructure. This is an entry-level position, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of our systems
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and functioning correctly
- Collaborate with other IT team members to provide technical support to end-users
- Implement security measures to protect our network from potential threats
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for system improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferences:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Previous experience in a similar role or internship
- Certifications in networking or systems administration (e.g. CCNA, MCSA)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
