QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to create and execute test plans, identify and report bugs, and provide feedback for improvements. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be crucial in identifying potential issues and ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality. You will also collaborate with other teams to ensure that the overall user experience is seamless and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test plans based on product specifications
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Conduct regression testing to ensure fixes are effective
- Provide feedback for product improvements based on testing results
- Work closely with other teams (e.g. design, product management) to ensure a seamless user experience
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and reports
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g. JIRA)
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies is preferred
